在植物转基因中心网站使用个性头像留言教程

不是所有搞科研的都会使用Gravatar显示个性留言图像。我觉得有必要说明下，如何在植物转基因中心网站使用个性头像留言。Gravatar是Globally Recognized Avatar的缩写，可以理解为“全球通用头像”：根据您在某一个网站留言时所使用的Email地址来生成您的头像。

如下图所示，Gravatar就是留言者右侧的那个小头像：

可以看到，“布谷鸟”和“唯美国度”都显示了自定义的个性头像，而中间的两位朋友则是本博默认的留言头像。这是因为前面两位朋友在Gravatar网站将自己的头像与自己的Email账号进行了绑定。而植物转基因中心网站是支持Gravatar头像的展示，因此，在显示留言者信息的时候，会根据留言者的EMail来展示个性头像。我认为，每一个喜欢发表评论的朋友都有必要注册一个Gravatar个性头像。

关于注册一个Gravatar个性头像，以下是详细教程：

1. 打开gravatar.com网站注册。导航栏“Log in / Sign up”，下拉菜单选择“Sign Up”。在打开窗口中，添加您留言绑定的邮箱。这里小说明下，这个邮箱地址就是您以后在他人博客或网站留言使用的邮箱地址。

 

点击Signup，系统会告诉您。

Confirmation email sent!

We’ve sent you an activation email to XXX@pgec.org.

In the email you’ll find a link that when clicked on will bring you back to the site so you can set your password and create your gravatar.

If for some reason you do not receive the activation email within 24 hours, contact us at support@gravatar.com, and we’ll do our best to get you back on track.

2. 到刚才绑定的邮箱去收确认信（Confirmation email）。打开邮箱，看到一封新邮件：Welcome to Gravatar。

点击邮件中的激活链接（绿色部分），激活您的帐户。

3. 完成建立您的帐户。选择你的Gravatar用户名（只使用小写字母和数字），并设定一个密码。

4. 完成注册过程。出现如下信息：

Whoops, looks like you dont have any images yet! Add one by clicking here!

Gravatar doesn’t have any pre-made avatars to choose from. You get a custom-made avatar every time. Just click the link above and be ready to supply an image of your own to begin making your unique gravatar!

点击蓝色的那个链接>>，选择你想要的个性头像了。

5. 选择头像上传。出现如下信息：Choose where you’d like to get the image from。有四种方式，本地上传、在线图片地址、摄像头现拍和选择之前传过的。我们的教程选择“本地上传（My computer’s hard drive）”方式。

6. 选择你想使用的个性图片上传，并进行缩放裁剪的调整。Crop your photo using the dotted box below。

7. 选择头像的级别：Choose a rating for your Gravatar，一般选择G rated。

然后就OK啦！去支持Gravatar头像展示的博客或网站（现在这一功能已经很普及了），使用绑定的邮箱地址在网站上留言，就可以看到自己的个性头像了。
